Flash Fiction Planning
Thinkin' Out Loud
I’m planning to start bringing occasional flash fiction to this world.
I think for simplicities sake I’ll start with 500 words and I’ll choose a character to follow rather than jump around.
A good macguffin for explaining things is like a police officer.
Has a family to take care of, criminals of various stripes. Occasional aliens getting up to trouble. Has to deal with embassies and consulates—keeping peace on the ground has become a complicated thing.
So we’ll have a police officer in Jakarta doing just a regular street beat and what kind of people he encounters. Good opportunity for vignettes too.
I thought this was going to be harder which is why I started a post but it’s not. Sorry—this has been, thinking out loud!
I’ll go ahead and just post em when I write ‘em and we can talk about canonicity in the comments, how about? Do we need a section for them or can I just post ‘em outside of “exchanging notes”?-Scoot
Sounds good. I made a "Tales from Bima Sakti" section where you can put it. If you can think of a better name, feel free to rename the section. Can't wait to see what you got!
As for me, I do have a FF idea for this universe, but I've been busy with other projects and my personal life atm. Hopefully I can whip it up sooner rather than later.
